Elder Porsha D. Bush is native of Gulfport, Mississippi. In 1997, she graduated with honors from Harrison Central High School and she received a full basketball scholarship to William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Physical Education in August of 2002 and she received a Master’s degree in Business Administration in December of 2007.

Before moving to Houston, Texas she knew in her heart that God was calling her into ministry. January 19, 2003 at 732 am, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. After receiving salvation, she knew there was more. In January 2005, God led her to join Fishers of Men Worship Center under the leadership of E.V. & S.D. Washington Sr. Porsha remained faithful in the ministry and God promoted her to Life Studies School Assistant Teacher in June 2006. In March 2006, she was called into the office of an evangelist and September 17, 2006, Pastors E.V. & S.D. Washington released, licensed and ordained her to preach the uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ. She served actively for 6 years as an Evangelist, Deliverance Team Altar worker, Youth Bible Study Head Teacher and Director of S.W.A.T (Survivors with A Testimony) outreach ministry at Judah Assembly of Praise in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Eric & Sheila Washington Sr.

In 2012, she returned to Gulfport, Ms and she joined New Birth Full Gospel Baptist Church under the leadership of Overseer Kevin Payton. For 3 years she served as an Elder, Sunday School Teacher, Altar Worker, Director of Outreach and District Director of Intercessory Prayer. From October 2014- February 2015, she served as First Assistant to Overseer Payton where she was responsible for protocol. In March of 2015, she transitioned to Solid Rock International Ministries under the leadership of Overseer Ted & Co Pastor Dr. Sirenthia Watson. She currently serves in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship on the state, regional and international level as an Intercessor, IP Ministry Prayer Counselor and Elder. She recently graduated from the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship’s College of Elders. Currently, she is a life coach, mentor and author of the Motivational Moments with Porsha book series.
